And to all a wonderful day!
Wanting to wish all of my followers and all of those who like my posts, and everyone in the blogging world a very Merry Christmas. And to all those who don’t celebrate Christmas, I do wish you a happy Hanukkah, (I know that is already started) Boxing Day, Kwanzaa, and whatever holiday you celebrate.
This may not be the exact day that Jesus was born, but it is the day that was set aside to celebrate His birth.
I pray that the world will recognize the real reason for the season, Jesus Christ. It is not the mad house shopping, the gift exchanges, brightly colored trees and lights. I love the Christmas trees and lights. They are so pretty and make me smile, but they are not the real reason. Those things just make things crazy and hectic and stressful. I would rather sit back, relax and have a good time with family. Small gift exchanges would be nice if you really thought you needed to get someone something. I am not opposed to give a gift for a simple act of kindness or a word of positivity that really boosts your day. I just want to try and do my part in saying why Jesus came. God gave the ultimate gift of Jesus for all of us to have a way of getting to Heaven. You cannot do it by good works and just being a good person, although we need all of that to make life better. Jesus loves every person on this earth and wants them to be with Him and His Holy Father in Heaven. Take time to think on that. That’s the gift I want for Christmas. Peace and Joy for the whole world.
I am not a preacher, nor do I want to be. It is my duty as a Christian to present the fact of why we celebrate Christmas. That is all I want to say for today. And don’t forget your pets and all the animals of the earth. They are also God’s most treasured creations and His gift to us as well. Love them and take care of them. That is our job too. ❤
Stay Safe and God Bless!
