Finally I am getting to posting about my two days of the Equifest. Finally got the videos on YouTube. Friday February 26 was the first day. There was a lot to see, but it didn’t really seem to be as big as it was in Wichita, Kansas. But I was the first time in Topeka. Hopefully it will be there again next year and bigger.
This video is about 12 minutes long, but it is worth a watch. At least it is for me. 🙂 This one is showing the beautiful Friesian horses.
This video is only about 7 minutes. It is showing the Rocky Mountain horses. My mare Diamond is half Rocky Mountain. Her Mom, Two Socks is half Quarter horse and half Tennessee Walker. The horse carrying the rider in the red coat, looks a lot like the stallion that is Diamond’s sire. But unfortunately Diamond doesn’t seem to have the gaits of these beautiful horses. If she does, I don’t know how to get her in it. I did get a chance to ride the stallion that sired Diamond. And that was a great ride! So smooth.
And here is some pictures of some very unique seats. I wish I could have found out if they were actually for sale. I couldn’t find a price tag anywhere on them.
And her Mom, Two Socks. This is an older picture of Two Socks, but she still looks good now at 20 plus years.
I have more to come in part two.
Stay Safe and God Bless!
